Mocha Girls Read 2015 Reading Challenge
Not only am I a mocha girl who loves to read, but Mocha Girls Read is holding a challenge this year that has me thoroughly excited! The 2015 MGR Reading Challenge is a great way for me to add more books under my belt throughout 2015.
I will participate at the "Out of this Word" level in which I will read novels that coincide with the spelling of Mocha Girls 15.
I have participated in a few of the Mocha Girls Read's GoodReads Novels of the Month (OMG! That was long winded). Either way, I have loved some of the books these phenomenal women chose to read during the past year so I am looking forward to participating in the challenge and seeing how far I can go this year. I will keep track of the books I complete for this challenge within this post. Stay tuned!

TBR Pile Reading Challenge
TBR Pile Reading Challenge
So, this is my first year participating in a reading challenge, besides the annual GoodReads Book Challenge. I have decided to participate in the Bookish: 2015 TBR Reading Challenge. I am so excited because I add so many books to my GoodReads "To Read" pile. It seems that instead of me reading the books in my "To Read" pile, I end up reading books that have been recommended to me from other sources. So, in an attempt to get some of these "To Read" books read, I am going to fully participate in this challenge.
I plan to complete the 21-30 First Kiss Level.
So, this is the list of "To Be Read" books that I need to knock off of my list, in no particular order:
~ "Legend" by Marie Lou
~ "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold
~ "Gone" by Michael Grant
~ "Fifty Shades Freed" by E.L. James
~ "Beautiful Creatures" by Kami Garcia
~"A Child Called It" by Dave Pelzer (10/14/2015)
~"The Man in 3B" by Carl Weber (3/29/2015)
~ "The Adoration of Jenna Fox" by Mary E. Pearson
~ "The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer" by Michelle Hodkin
~ "City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare
~ "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak
~ "Hollow City" by Ransom Riggs
~"The Other Side of the Pillow" by Zane (5/2/2015)
~ "Matched" by Ally Condie
~ "The Halloween Tree" by Ray Bradbury
~ "We Have Always Lived in the Castle" by Shirley Jackson
~ "Dark Places" by Gillian Flynn
~ "Sharp Objects" by Gillian Flynn
~"Me Before You" Jojo Moyes (6/13/2015)
~ "Paper Towns" by John Green
~"The Death Cure" by James Dashner (3/5/2015)
~"The Kill Order" by James Dashner (3/18/2015)

First Blog Post- I'm Ready to Read!
I am so excited! This is my first blog post. I follow some great blogs so I felt it was only necessary that I start my own blog. I love reading; blogging and reading seem to go hand and hand, so here I am. I look forward to chronicling my own journey through various genres and authors. As a teacher, it seems to be a misconception that our lives are boring and mundane. Well, I'm here to let you know that this is partly true...lol! Seriously, I love to have fun, go out with my husband and daughter, and I LOVE TO READ. Honestly, reading almost consumes my life. I'm constantly thinking about what books I want to read next and I get engulfed in the lives of the characters within the books I am currently reading.
Either way, I am hoping to embark on some reading challenges this year and give thorough reviews on books I enjoy reading.
